Bargello Bistro is a modern bistro, inspired by the bright colors, bold flavors and vibrant lifestyle of the Mediterranean. In Florence, the Bargello museum is the "Palazzo del Popolo", the palace of the people, filled with classic art and adorned with a sprawling courtyard. At Bargello Bistro, we want to be a place for the people as well, a comfortable neighborhood place where couples come to sup cocktails at the bar or share an intimate dinner out, and families gather for lively enjoyable time together. We believe that dining is more than just eating, that a meal should be taken slowly, savored, enjoyed with good wine and most importantly, always shared with family and friends.

Our menu draws inspiration from the countries of the Mediterranean - Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Syria, and Morocco - as well as from the bounty of the sea itself. Our food is refined, yet comforting, familiar yet full of rich, aromatic and exotic spices. At Bargello, we believe that bread is the food of life, essential to, and serve with every meal. We also believe in the Florentine tradition of "tanta varieta" - a little of everything. Instead of having the same thing so often becomes boring, we've filed the menu with a variety of delicious tastes and dishes, so that every time you return to Bargello Bistro you can look forward to sampling something new, exciting and extraordinarily delicious.
